Charles Huebner

Managing Principal

Charlie Huebner is a Managing Principal and co-founder of RCP. He is responsible for managing the Firm’s investment due diligence and portfolio management functions. In addition, Charlie chairs the Investment Committee and is active as an Advisory Board member of various underlying funds. He has been involved in the private equity industry for over 25 years. Prior to founding RCP, Charlie was an Executive Vice President at Heller Financial, Inc., where he founded and managed the Capital Markets Group. He also served as Senior Managing Director at Heller Capital Management, the firm’s private equity investment business, where he oversaw a large portfolio of middle market buyout limited partnership interests and direct investments. In addition, Charlie has extensive prior experience in leveraged finance through capital markets positions with Security Pacific Corporation and the Bank of New York. Charlie is a trustee of the Merit School of Music and is active in other community and arts organizations in Chicago. Charlie received a BA in History and Economics and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a CFA charterholder.
