Administrative Assistant
Business Development Team

Chicago, IL – February 6, 2023 – RCP is seeking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant on the Business Development Team. The Business Development Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative and analytical tasks to support members of the team. The role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multi-task. Must be proactive and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced and constantly changing environment. This is a hybrid role based out of RCP Advisors' Chicago office.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Manage team’s calendars, schedule meetings, and set up conferences across multiple time zones

  • Assist with various administrative aspects of the team, including but not limited to: monitoring email inboxes, answering phone calls, mail services, general copying, printing and binding presentations, filing and scanning

  • Organize internal and external meetings, including logistics, attendees, materials, and communications

  • Schedule all travel within budget and produce travel itineraries and expense reports

  • Perform special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned

Candidate Skills & Experience


Required:

  • Associate's degree or higher

  • At least two years of direct experience in an administrative role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce or other CRM software

  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to multi-task

  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, evolving work environment

  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in an environment with distractions

  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships

  • Must have the ability to interact with a variety of individuals (employees at all levels, clients, vendors), along with the ability to work independently are required

  • Demonstrated ability to learn, intellectually curious and forward-thinking

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience in a professional services environment

  • Proficiency with Tripsware, Salesforce.com, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
