Human Resources Business Partner

Chicago, IL – RCP is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner. As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as the primary HR point of contact for the RCP Advisors office. This individual will function as a strategic partner and integral extension of the business, owning all HR-related initiatives and ensuring alignment with RCP’s strategy and culture. The HRBP will support a full range of human resources functions, including but not limited to: talent acquisition and management, employee relations and performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits support, and spearheading the culture and employee engagement initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role requiring an experienced HR generalist who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is comfortable operating independently while also leveraging centralized HR resources from the management company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with RCP Advisors’ leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into effective HR strategies and solutions.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for RCP roles in collaboration with centralized recruiting resources.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all employee relations matters, providing guidance, coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Drive onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth positive experience for employees.
  • Lead employee engagement and culture-building efforts in alignment with RCP values.
  • Identify training needs and implement development programs to support employee growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with management company HR enterprise-wide processes, programs and projects.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision making.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Required & Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or business partner capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering a high-quality employee experience.
